Welcome to
the Glacier Mountain Academy web site. Glacier Mountain's program is dedicated to assisting families in crisis. Glacier Mountain is a year round open enrollment program for at risk teenagers. The Glacier Mountain programs involve behavioral and emotional modification. We serve families with children between the ages of 13-17 years old. Most of our students are making unhealthy choices due to poor life skills. We invite you to explore our site and be sure to click on 'services' to find out more about our unique programs for at risk teenagers. The Glacier Mountain Academy started in 1995 and is located in Sandpoint, Idaho. Our goal is to integrate the student back into the family unit and to be on track academically when they return home. Most of our students have had unpleasant experiences academically which have led to low self-esteem, lack of motivation, anger, disrespect for authority figures, and some experimentation with drugs and alcohol. Glacier Mountain Academy is licensed by the Department of Health and Welfare, and the State of Idaho. |
